If you are reading this today there are now just 90 days left in 2026. I don't know how this year has played out for you but for me it feels like it was February 6 sleeps ago!

It’s right about now that a familiar split happens. Half the world mentally checks out, declaring the year ‘done’ and promising to reset in January. The other half tries to fix every single area of their life in a panic before December 31st.
Neither approach works.
Real transformation doesn’t come from a dramatic, overnight life overhaul. It comes from radical self-honesty, simple boundaries and small, consistent choices. Living life on your terms isn't about perfection it's about sovereignty, self-respect and taking back control of your own focus and energy.
If you want to finish this year feeling grounded, peaceful and in the driver’s seat of your own life, you don't need a 30-step checklist. You just need to get back to basics.
Grab one piece of paper, a pen and focus on these six core steps for the next 90 days.
1. Get It Out of Your Head and Onto Paper
Start with a complete brain dump. Write down everything currently making you feel overwhelmed, stuck, or out of control; your time, habits, money, health, space, or daily energy drains.
When clutter lives inside your head, it feels insurmountable. Once it’s on paper, it’s just data you can deal with.
2. Identify the ONE Single Bottleneck
Look at your list. Don’t try to fix all of it. Circle the one issue creating the majority of the chaos.
Is it a total lack of sleep? An unmanageable schedule? A conversation you're avoiding? When you focus on resolving the primary bottleneck, everything else starts to loosen up.
3. Choose 3 Priorities (And Define Your Own Success)
Write down what you actually want your life to look like over the next three months, not what society, your family, or your peer group expects of you. Choose three meaningful priorities for the next 90 days. That’s it. Three things done intentionally beat twenty things done in a hurry.

4. Create a ‘Stop Doing’ List
Living on your terms is just as much about what you refuse to accept as what you choose to build. Write down what stops today:
5. Reclaim Your Daily Bookends
Your morning and evening set the baseline for your nervous system.
6. Keep the Promises You Make to Yourself
Self-trust is built in small, unglamorous moments. If you tell yourself you’re going to go for a 20-minute walk, go for the walk. If you commit to setting a boundary, hold it. Every time your actions match your intentions, your confidence and self-respect grow.
The Goal Isn't Perfection It's Alignment
At Day 90, you don't need to have every detail of your life sorted out. You just need evidence that you chose yourself.
You don't need to wait for a new year, a new month, or a fresh Monday to start living with intention. The next 90 days are going to pass regardless. You might as well spend them becoming the person who lives life on their own terms.
